What we consider ↓Call before you visit
Browse music, movies, games, cards, and collectables. Ask about an item’s condition, what is included, and whether it works with your setup before taking it home.
Bring in items you own or are authorized to sell. We’ll assess what fits our current buying needs and discuss a cash offer for accepted items.
Ask for the store-credit offer, too. Your items are evaluated first, and accepted trade value can be applied toward a purchase. Confirm any credit terms with staff.
Vinyl records, CDs, and tapes. Pressing, edition, playback condition, and original sleeves or artwork all matter.
Cartridge and disc games, consoles, controllers, and accessories. Bring the matching cables, manuals, and original packaging you have.
VHS, DVDs, and Blu-rays. Matching cases, artwork, playable condition, and unusual or out-of-print releases help us assess the item.
Cards and collections are reviewed for authenticity, set, edition, and condition. We use current market information when making an offer.
Action figures, pop culture collectables, and related pieces. Original accessories, complete parts, and packaging can make a difference.
Turntables, stereos, and other vintage equipment. Call first about large items or gear with known faults so we can discuss whether it is a fit.
We don’t buy every item in every category. Condition, authenticity, demand, and what we already have in stock affect acceptance. Call ahead for large collections or anything you’re unsure about.
Let us know what you brought, where it came from, what works, and whether you prefer cash, store credit, or either.
We identify the exact item, inspect condition and completeness, and check function where possible. Then we review market information and current stock.
We explain the cash and store-credit offers for items we can accept. Ask us to walk through the value of a particular piece. There’s no pressure to say yes.
If you accept, we verify your ID and complete a signed purchase agreement before paying or issuing credit. You receive an agreement copy or receipt.
Our evaluation considers recent market information for the correct edition and condition, along with authenticity, completeness, working condition, demand, and current inventory.
References may include Discogs for music, PriceCharting for games, TCGplayer for Pokémon, and completed eBay sales for collectables and other items.
A resale market value and a store’s purchase offer are different amounts. We’ll explain the offer for your items rather than promise one fixed percentage for every collection.
Only bring items you own or are authorized to sell. The purchase agreement records the items, accepted price, and payment method.
Shop singles, bring cards to sell or trade, or ask for a free evaluation with no obligation. Offers reflect current market conditions.
We check authenticity and assess wear on the corners, edges, and surface. The exact set and condition matter. If you’d like to understand an offer, ask us to walk through the cards with you.
For a trade, we evaluate your cards first and apply the accepted credit toward the items you choose.
Consignment lets us sell an accepted item on your behalf while you retain ownership until it sells. It can be a fit for selected higher-value pieces when you’re willing to wait for a buyer.
We work with each partner for the of the final sale price and consignment fee. Acceptance and the agreed selling price are discussed before the item goes on the floor.
Before leaving an item, review and sign the consignment agreement. Confirm payment timing, any markdowns, the consignment term, and what happens if it does not sell.
We review items individually or as an appropriate lot. Some may fit our buying needs while others may not. Stock levels, demand, condition, and authenticity all affect what we can accept. Call ahead with an overview of a large collection.
Absolutely. Ask questions, take your time, and decline if the offer is not right for you. Once you accept and payment is issued, the purchase agreement states that the sale to the store is final and the items will not be returned.
Ask for both the cash and credit amounts. Before accepting credit, confirm what it can be used for, whether it expires, and whether it can be transferred. Staff will record your credit and provide a receipt or transaction record.
Tell us exactly what is missing or not working before bringing it in. We may decline an item or assess it differently based on its condition. Acceptance is never guaranteed. If you want to keep the equipment and have it assessed for repair, visit our Repairs page.
Ask about condition, included accessories, testing, and compatibility with your equipment. “Tested working” describes the item when inspected; vintage equipment and media can change with age and use. Review the sale terms and any written return, exchange, or warranty exception with staff before purchasing.
No. With an outright sale, the store buys your item at the agreed amount. With consignment, you retain ownership until it sells and receive your agreed share afterward according to the consignment agreement. A sale or sale date is not guaranteed.
