Consoles & Handhelds
Vintage gaming consoles and handheld systems, including familiar retro platforms such as NES, SNES, Game Boy, Sega systems, and PlayStation 1 and 2.

A favorite console. A turntable with history. The deck that still plays your best mixtape. Old technology deserves a second life—and an honest answer when something stops working.
We assess vintage and retro equipment, explain what we find, and give you a written parts-and-labor estimate before repair work begins.
Call about a repairHow it works ↓
Call with the make, model, approximate age, and symptoms so we can discuss whether your device is a fit for our repair service.
Vintage gaming consoles and handheld systems, including familiar retro platforms such as NES, SNES, Game Boy, Sega systems, and PlayStation 1 and 2.
Turntables, record players, stereos, receivers, and cassette decks. Tell us about playback, power, sound, or mechanical problems.
Vintage VCRs, video playback equipment, and CRT TVs or monitors. Call first to discuss the model and service suitability, especially for large or fragile equipment.
Our repair service is for vintage and retro devices only. We do not service modern or currently manufactured equipment. Acceptance and repair options depend on the individual device and assessment.
We record your device details, included accessories, and reported issue. We photograph its condition and note existing damage. You review the intake paperwork and any diagnostic fee.
We inspect the equipment and explain our diagnosis. You receive a written estimate for parts and labor, including an estimated completion time.
No repair starts until you approve the estimate. We contact you when a decision is needed and keep you informed about the job’s progress.
We test completed repairs, explain the work performed, and let you know when your device is ready. Your repair record includes the outcome and final charge.
Any diagnostic fee is agreed at intake. We also record whether that fee is waived if you proceed with the repair—please ask before leaving your device.
Your written repair estimate covers parts and labor. No repair work begins without your approval.
If a repair cannot be completed, you will not be charged for repair labor beyond any agreed diagnostic fee.
Call for current pricing, an estimated turnaround, and any warranty terms that apply to your specific job.
We handle your equipment with care and will tell you if we believe a repair is not worthwhile or the device is beyond saving. Aged parts, unavailable replacements, and previous modifications can limit what is possible. We cannot guarantee a specific repair outcome.
We document pre-existing cosmetic and functional damage at intake. Aging components can fail during diagnosis or servicing, even when handled carefully.
Saved games, recordings, data, and other stored content are not covered against loss during servicing. Discuss anything important with us before work begins.
The Customer Agreement and Repair Liability Waiver must both be signed before service begins. Please ask staff to explain any term you are unsure about.
No. Some devices cannot be repaired because of age-related damage, unavailable parts, or other faults. We will explain what we find and discuss whether repair makes sense. If we believe a repair presents a safety concern, we will discuss it with you first.
We provide an estimated completion time for your job. Ask for the current estimate when checking in. We will update you if the work takes longer than expected.
We will not proceed with the repair. Any diagnostic fee agreed at intake still applies. If repair is not performed, our customer agreement provides for return of the device in the condition received.
We contact you and explain the situation. You will not be charged for labor beyond any agreed diagnostic fee. If you do not want the device back, ask whether we can accept it as-is for parts or inventory. Giving up the device must be confirmed in writing.
The agreement addresses age-related component failure, pre-existing damage, loss of data or media, devices that cannot be repaired, and the effects of earlier third-party repairs or modifications. Review the full Customer Agreement and Repair Liability Waiver at intake for the applicable terms.
Please arrange pickup promptly when we contact you. The customer agreement states that unclaimed devices become store property after 60 days. Ask staff to confirm your pickup deadline and contact us if you need to discuss arrangements.
Ask staff to explain any warranty terms that apply to your repair before approving the estimate. Vintage electronics vary, and we do not promise a particular repair outcome.
This page is a service overview. The signed Customer Agreement and Repair Liability Waiver contain the full repair terms.
